Double Presentation Ring Box

The client requested a box to use at their daughter's wedding to hold both the bride's and groom's rings. They supplied some example artwork and we built a traditional hinged box, with a magnet closure. There is a maple and butternut inlay depiction of a wedding couple on the top and an inscription on the front in a titanium white epoxy inlay.

The interior is lined with cherry and contains two custom ring cushions, 3D printed in soft TPU plastic and covered in silk from a family heirloom wedding dress.

The box is finished inside and out with varnish oil and then on the outside with shellac, hand buffed to give a beautiful but subtle sheen, accentuating the artwork.
